Program description

GC, run by Obrize LLC, is a text-message assistant that members add to their own iMessage group chats. It sends replies to requests that start with “GC”, reminders your group asked for, and service notices such as the welcome and age question. Adding GC or joining a group does not itself give consent. Live service requires an approved way to obtain consent before sending the welcome or other age questions.

Consent

Each current member replies Yes to the welcome’s age and informational-message notice before ordinary service starts. This consent covers service messages only, never promotions. New members answer individually, without repeating setup for everyone. Ordinary group replies pause immediately when someone joins and stay paused until that member answers or leaves; after 24 hours without an answer, the group is marked paused. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency

Frequency depends on how your group uses GC, usually a few messages per request. Promotions are inactive in this release. If enabled later, a one-time offer notice may be sent after 30 days from completed onboarding and at least two real requests during those days, in a permitted window while the group is active. Promotions and affiliate links require every current member’s separate opt-in. Promotions are limited to at most one in any seven days.

Opting out

Text STOP as a whole message, “GC, stop”, or a clear request such as “please stop” or “stop texting me” to stop GC immediately. An unqualified “opt out” also stops GC. GC may send one immediate confirmation: “OK, I’ve stopped messaging this group.” It then stays silent. Saved settings remain for up to 30 days; a whole-message Delete while stopped erases the group without another reply. “Opt out of offers” stops promotions and affiliate links only.

Restarting

Only the verified member who stopped GC can clear their own stop with START in that group. Every remaining stopper must clear their own stop; a verified departure removes only that member’s local block. START never restores promotions or clears revocation records for other groups. If prior age and service acceptance was erased or expired, START opens an approved age/service question; answer Yes, then send START again. Restart requires verified evidence that the user sent START after the latest revocation; stale or unverified ordering keeps GC stopped.

Text HELP while GC is active, or email hello@textgc.ai anytime. HELP does not cause a reply while the group is stopped.

Carriers

Wireless carriers and Apple are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. GC works in iMessage group chats; groups that include other phones may not be supported.

Age

GC is for adults 18 and over.
